There are more than 240 bookstores in Moscow. Book sellers line the street around big bookstores like Dom Knigi, Novyy Arbat and Progress, selling books of interest to residents and tourists alike. Old books and second hand books can be found in ANTIQUARIAN SHOPS (Old Books) and at the Book Market held at Olimpiyskiy Stadium. If you see a book, you would like to buy, best buy it on the spot. If you come back later, it will be gone.
TYPNote: The selection of Western books in Moscow is still rather limited, especially with respect to travel guides and maps.
